This may be Monet’s most famous painting. Yes, again with the lilies. Yes, we know! Monet created motifs by continuing to create scenes in this likeness. This style made him a niche impressionist. This work is very similar to the other “Water Lily Pond”. This version is, as you guessed, much more green. The bridge depicted is Japanese and the image itself is compressed. You can find this work inside the great Paris.

Water Lilies

Another one in this pile. The lilies were likely overused, however, they are the image you think of when referring to Monet. This work is a bit darker than the rest, Claude incorporated a more blue-black to emulate the darkness in the water. It was made in 1916.
