Visit London’s Exhibition by Yoko Ono and Fix Broken Pottery by Yourself

Visit the interactive exhibition held by Yoko Ono and try yourself as an artist. The event will take place in London in the period from 25 August to 2 January. Participants of Mend Piece for London will be provided with two tables of broken pottery and given simple instructions specially compiled by an artist, activist, and musician. With the help of such simple materials as scissors, glue, and tape, you can repair broken pieces.

The exhibition draws inspiration from an ancient Japanese craft called Kintsugi, which means the process of repairing ceramics with varnish and other pigments. Mend Piece for London guests can try this practice at the Whitechapel Gallery.
