Discover 9 Norwegian and 9 American Brands That Took Part in the 2021 Norway x New York Show

In 2015, Sight Unseen arrived in Oslo to discover Norway’s talented design scene. As a result of the trip, the first of three Norway x New York projects appeared in 2016. That was a moment when Norwegian and American studios united. And then, Norwegian Consulate General invited them to work on the design and fabrics of their own home furniture together.

And despite the 2020 show being delayed, now they are ready to introduce nine designers with their style and aesthetic. During one year both brands closely collaborated to develop a product that will be revealed already this month at a colorful showroom in New York.

The range will consist of lamps and furniture, designed by Vilde Hagelund, Bjørn van den Berg, and Runa Klock. Among other items are tables, a bench, and a carpet. All of the objects from the line will be available for purchase soon.
