The architect and artist from the Netherlands, Cosimo Scotucci, presented DROPS as a new art installation on Caorle’s cliff located in Italy. The designer placed the luminescent glazed drops on the rock, which serves as the tidal defense system. Due to their ability to absorb daylight and then release it at night, these colored dots create a truly magic installation.

During the day, the installation looks like a mosaic, but at night it completely changes, unveiling an unexpected beauty and transforming the landscape into a fairytale. The drops, which are all made of glass and contain a luminescent pigment, illuminate the rock that had been an ordinary spot before. And the sparkles bring innovation to the dark reef, which has already become a tourist destination.
